As part of the Ferriby to Gilberdyke Resignalling Scheme, 9 x Level crossings were scoped to be upgraded from Manually Controlled Barrier Crossing (MCB) to a new Obstacle Detection System Level Crossing (OD).

 

Details:

KGJ Price was sub-contracted to undertake all civil works relating to 9 x MCB-OD Level Crossings between Ferriby & Gilberdyke.
KGJ Price provided all labour, materials, plant & equipment necessary to deliver the full scope of work as detailed below.
THE WORKS INCLUDED:-
Ancillary Civils:-
LX Decking Mods (Strail); Retaining Walls/Structures; Barrier Bases; Road Traffic Light Bases; Fencing; Anti-Trespass Guards; Pathways;
Highways:-
Road Widening; Signage; Armco Barriers; BOD Loop installation & Roadmarking (incl. Road StudS).
Hand the track back safely after each installation/part installation.
Complete all commisisoning-dependant works during 2 x 72hr Blockades during November 2018.
